Removing IE6 and bringing in IE5.5

Featured Replies

Hey guys, i've been dormant for a while

Got a quick question, How can i get rid of IE6 (completely) and bring 5.5 back to life?

I tried uninstalling IE6, then installed 5.5, but no luck it was still IE6 after reboot, any ideas? or steps?

TIA

If you're using Windows XP I don't think it's possible to stick IE 5.5 back in. You would have older system files in there and windows would naturally reject those.

try IEradicator

in http://www.98lite.net/download.html

its 4 ie 4 5

but maby?!

there is another way to get into the registry

and delete all the refarence to ie6

but its take some time

i once madethis and its works 4 me

just backup all changes to registry!
