th3bigguy Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 This is an old issues but I figured I would post to get some help. Its been awhile since I have had to do this. I create a image of a windows xp pro sp3 box with ghost 8. I did not use ghostwalker or sysprep on the image before making the image. Long story...I had onboard SATA drivers for creating the image but when I go to dump the image on a different system I get the bsod with 0x0000007B error...boot device unavailable. The system I have uploaded the image to has an sata adaptec PCI card. Is there a way to boot to windows recovery console and copy or change a file on the system without having to do a recovery boot installation. Any help would be great. I have tried to google this and I seem to not be using the correct syntex for google searches. I have also tried fixes related to the bsod error with no luck. Thanks again for the help.
