Not sure if this is a bug. I tick all the languages except english to be removed. After the nlite finish running, i tried running nlite again but all the langues has been removed except the languages within the Western Europe and United States still exist. Does anyone encounter this problem before?

This is my session.ini content. I am running nlite on a clean version.

warriors, to begin with, you should never run nLite more than once on the same source. It seems like I have heard the same from others and that is the way MS wants it. Since my memory may be faulty, I suggest you do some searching of these forums for the answer. Enjoy, John.

I'm not sure, but I think U.S. English (the built in, the default) is not listed in languages so it can't be removed. So in theory you could remove all listed languages and still have English.

I haven't tested it myself (I always keep few languages I need), so I might be wrong. I hope others can help more.

You got me wrong. I am trying to remove all languages and keeping only english and chinese. But it seems that for the Western Europe and United states part, whenever i choose all the languages except english to be remove, the languages after removal is still there. It seems like a bug

No I didn't, I was just skimping on words. I meant you should try keeping only Chinese and then English will be kept automatically.

Western Europe and United States is a language group - just as with other languages, if you keep one language from the group, the whole group is kept. This is from inner workings of Windows, not speciffic to nLite (but nLite must obey those rules).

So there is another possibility - that the default English language I talked about above is preventing the WE&US group from being removed. But you said in your first post that you ticked all languages except English, so... which English did you not tick?

GL

* Edit - it was right in my face - none. Try ticking them all.

ok juz to confirm. Even when i tick and remove all the languages inside the Western Europe and United States language group, the languages still exist even after removal. I am running nlite on a clean source. No prior nlite done on it before.
