Settepotet Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I've vlited my W7 install (x64), removing some basic features I don't need , like languages, some drivers and Media Center. First thing after install I tried to install the released fix regarding the corruption of MP3 files in W7.Link: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=enThis install fails. And now I'm wondering of this is because of the removal of the Media Center. Quote Microsoft "Install this update to resolve live and recorded TV issues in Windows Media Center, recorded TV playback issues in Windows Media Player, and MP3 file corruption issues in Windows."Can somebody confirm this? Have anyone here with vlited W7 AND Media Center removed succesfully installed this update?Quick responses appreciated. Thanks
MagicAndre1981 Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 integrate the update first and next use vLite
MPalmz Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 integrate the update first and next use vLiteIs knowing how to do this common knowledge amoung vLite users? I don't think you can integrate the fix into the install ISO using vLite, but it doesn't sound like that's what you mean.
MPalmz Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Settepotet, I managed to successfully install the KB961367 fix without problems. Details in the other thread. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=123539
Settepotet Posted January 12, 2009 Author Posted January 12, 2009 Well, I did a reinstall with Media Center and is happy about it for now. When RTM hits, and nuhi makes 7lite - I will be a happy man again
