NEO-BAHAMUT- Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Hi all,I am currently just going through slipstreaming my Windows XPSP3 CD. I have tried a couple of times now doing this. But seem to be failing on a couple of hotfixes / updates etc. I have a feeling that it is because of the order that i am installing the updates. Does that matter? Is it best to install updates by date of release? Also i seem to be struggling to slipstream Dotnet FX and its service packs/updates. Is this able to be done.I seem ok installing Windows Media player, IE7, Messenger and Defender. Can anyone help.Thanks.
johnhc Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 NEO-BAHAMUT-, I suspect the reason you have no response yet is I think all of these issues have been addressed here. Please do some searching before posting. Hot fixes must be placed in the proper order, Dot Net will not integrate as a hot fix - use the RunOnce to install it and its updates. Enjoy, John.
