QCC Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Hi there,I'm currently busy creating an unattended XP Home SP3 disk. Normaly when installing XP Home you can skip the product key part by clicking Next followed by No I believe. Then you'll be prompted to enter it in Windows after the installation. Is there any way to install XP unattended and be able to enter the key afterwards? Or is there a decent tool to change your Windows key? Thanks in advance.

QCC Posted January 6, 2009 Author Posted January 6, 2009 yes there is WINKEYFINDER can change not only product key but used to backup activation etc. it is absolutely free. Thanks for your reply. The tool works great. The only thing I noticed is the program doesn't change the Internet Explorer key. If i check with a tool called 'produkey' from nirsoft, it still shows the old key next to 'Internet Explorer'. I don't know if it has any influence or not, but I have to make sure the system doesn't use the key it was installed with. Thanks in advance
KingAFW Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 You can change the key in Windows. When he asks for product activation, select by phone method and press the "change my product key" button.
