im trying to update the drivers

im using windows 7 server 6801 right now but at any other server version i have this problem

might be a driver issue as a physical system has to load more drivers than a virtual system.

yea but 3-4 mins its too much

I had a problem with a CD-rom drive not being recognized on boot. It took 5 mins before it booted. After removing it, solved the problem.

it can take as long as it wants, basically. check your event log - that's where i found the problem that the cd-rom drive was faulting.

here the boot time

win7 32bit 35secs

win7 64bit 53secs

win7s 1:17

win7s have lots of "black out" screen i guess 30secs of wasted time which the system doesnt do something

[black screens and the system dont do nothing]

and i tested it vlite setup and orignal setup not much a diff
