WinXP SP2 Crash

Hi guys,

I created unattended installation of WinXP SP2,

Installation running well on all computers or notebook, but after installation, if I change screen or GUI related settings, like changing desktop background color or image, changing themes or change screen resolution or color depth...this clean WinXP always crash and restart. doesn't matter before or after I install driver. crash on all PC or notebooks I tested. No other software installation.

I run sfc /purgecache, sfc /scannow, run all services but it doesn't help, disable indexing service.

Clean and compact the registry, chkdsk, delete all temp files, clear the prefetch.

I used the same source CD, but when I'm not using nlite script , there is no problem.

I try creating new script, but with the same configuration. No effect.

Can someone help me what I'm doing wrong.

There is NO way anyone can help you with just your "vague" description.

Please post some details.

Post the BSOD STOP ERROR you get.

You are having a Blue Screen of Death, right? (or what do you mean by "crash")
