Belak51 Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 (edited) I was just wondering if when you use the Add-On app packs if it will add the name of the program to the "Add and Remove Programs" list.I just wanted to know before I actually finished my custom install CD.ThanksAnd sorry if this seems like a stupid question. I just didn't know...And my other question: does the built in uxtheme patch work for SP3? Edited December 12, 2008 by Belak51
johnhc Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Belak51, I don't use AddOns, so can't answer that question. I sure hope it does, but hot fixes integrated with nLite do not show in Add/Remove. There are several posts about Uxtheme and SP3. Some say it works, some not. Please try it (hope you are using a virtual system to test), and let us know. Enjoy, John.

Kelsenellenelvian Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Depends on the type of addon. If it is just a switchless installer then yes it will.True addons for the most part do not show in the add\remove section.

I don't think I'll check then. I'll just start setting up my own cd.Thanks for your help
