Unattended Clean XP Home Install From Upgrade Disc

Recommended Posts

I'm going to be getting another computer soon and I'm trying to get some of the setup work done now, but I have this issue:

I have an extra copy of Windows XP Home Upgrade (upgrade from 98,ME, etc) that I want to use on the new computer. I'm familiar with using nLite to slim down the install and slipstream service packs. However, I would like to be able to do a completely unattended install with no need to insert my old Win98 cd for verification. Assuming that I have that CD and its cd-key, is there a way I can create a new install disk that contains whatever files are necessary for the verification, and will do it automatically?

I apologize if the answer is obvious, I searched the forums and the web but could not find anything that addressed this question directly.
