Slipstreaming an upgrade DVD

Recommended Posts

Hi guys- this is my first post here- I'm looking forward to checking out the forum more!

So here's my question:

Actually, some quick background- I have used nlite with xp & SP's as well as xables updates, and I test unattended installs on virtual box. I have some Idea of how to do this stuff...

I have a windows business upgrade DVD. Going the long way about it, I used the clean install method, but now I want to build a slipstream with sp1 and Ryan's updates. How do I make an unattended slipstream that does a clean install with an upgrade DVD?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Also, FYI- my current build appears to be buggered and will not be long for this world. I'd be really gratefull for some input soon!

Thanks again!

DO NOT make an un-attended DVD. You won't be able to use it for repair and recovery purposes.

I have an Ultimate Upgrade DVD and had no problem slipstreaming SP1, drivers and hot-fixes into it.
