What is the "temp download folder" of Chrome? I have searched for that, but i dont think i succeeded.

Thought it was:

C:\Documents and Settings\Raoul\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application

But im not sure.

See:

edit:

Found it:

C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Update\Download

The chrome_installer.exe is silent from itself and is 8,36MB

hi thanks for the reply

it installs ok but a opition window comes up the google chrome loads

I used TaskKills to solve that

I created a SFX file with winrar and added the following "comment" to it

Setup=setup.exe

Setup=TaskKillS chrome.exe

TempMode

Overwrite=1

I´m still trying to figure out how to get rid of the "first run" popup menú. I used regshot to get a picture of the system changes that the first run made and copied every file and modified the registry manually and still nothing

I hope it was somehow helpful and that someone may have the answer to my problem thnx

Put an empty file called

First Run

here:

%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application

Also you can add Bookmarks and others to have a customized installation.

For Win7:

"%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application"

"%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default"

From the second one you can backup your stuff, (Cookies, passwords, etc), passwords are in the Web Data file
