CabLib Extract ERROR

..no matter what I do I get a CabLib Extract ERROR message when attempting SP1 slipstream, Vista Home Premium, DELL Inspiron 1720. None of the files are corrupt; I've downloaded the service pack and vLite 1.2 Final three different times; recopied the original Vista DVD entirely three times to the HDD. vLite will just not slipstream the SP. vLite then aborts, no changes saved, integration failed.

There is nothing in the preset folder, just this in the configuration file in the root of the vLite folder:

any ideas?
