vlite 1.2 errored integrating Fox's latest update pack-http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5564-at KB956391-Dell Inspiron 1720, ; it simply states KB956391 integration failed, Do You Want to continue; I hit Yes, vlite continues on to the end and, then, discretely shows an Integration failed message at the bottom of the GUI box, no changes were made; SP1 slipstreamed first via vlite 1.2, rebooted before attempting integration. There are no antivirus programs running; now, I get BSOD everytime I try to integrate the update pack....something went south; on every reboot the screen refreshes 3 times at the desktop after complete login. Graphics drivers uninstalled all refresh issues disappear; reinstall they come back no matter what I do. No customizations whatsoever and the SP slipstream is done in a completely separate operation first thing.

I deleted all of the Vista install files, copied them again from the DVD DELL provided of just the OS to the HDD, attempted to slipstream the SP again for a completely fresh try and now at about 3/4 completion it flashes a cab extraction error, cab corrupt, SP integration cannot continue, no changes were saved. I downloaded the SP standalone again from MS update catalogue and SP1 slipstream succeeds, but, BSOD trying to integrate the update pack; now the viscious circle begins again. There was absolutely nothing in the preset; no customizations had been attempted at any level whatsoever. The OS installed perfectly and ran equally well before and after the BSOD...bottom line is I cannot get an slipstreamed ISO built.
