I've installed the 98SP3 Beta 3 and the Auto-Patcher for 98SE. I now wonder what to install next. Are there any unofficial fixes or updates that have not been included in the auto-patcher and/or 98SP3? I'm fairly sure I installed all official packages. I also want to know about the best place to find PCI128 drivers... that's what my VM uses. I'm happy to download some fun stuff. Great work guys.

You could install uberskin, but i don't use it myself because it conflicts with my games, so i use something called: Experience pack 2.5, that changes your icons to XP and add some skins. The skins are cool, but not as cool as uberskin.

does uberskin conflicts with games?

mabye thats why one or two of my games freeze some times?

Well may i ask what games freeze and whats your system specs, video card, etc.

Also, the thing with Uberskins, the skins work good, however running a game , it conflicts with the game. Meaning if i load up a game and start playing, my fps are low, when they shouldn't be, the thing that is causing that is those skins are still " active " in the background. The skins is causing the game issue, because when running a game, the skin are somehow active in the background. Its like the skin is playing in the game or something lol. Its kinda like i guess the desktop is still active, because of the heavy skins.

Only happens with a few games, but those games are important to me, and my games comes first. So i gave up using it, i mean its a amazing skin pack, but i just have to give up on it. I hope they can fix the issue, whatever it is, for future releases.

So i just use something called: eXPerience Pack 2.5

Alright for everyone reading this thread, keep in mind i have problems using Uberskin, with certain games. None of my games seem to freeze when using it, but i have other issues.

I NEVER SAID THAT UBERSKIN WAS BAD, I NEVER SAID THAT.

I SAID THAT UBERSKIN IS GREAT, AND WORKS JUST FINE, BUT " WITH ME " AND " SOME OF MY GAMES " I HAVE ISSUES.
