Printer prints everything 3 times

Hi,

Since I don't know if this is a problem with Windows or printer, I'm posting this in general section.

I'm running Vista Ultimate x64 and I have HP PhotoSmart C5280 printer.

I'm having the following problem:

Each time I print something the page count gets multiplied by 3 in print job. For example:

Printing 1 page shows "3/1" in printer status window.

Printing 1 page twice shows "6/1" in printer status window.

Printing 2 pages once shows "6/2" in printer status window.

This is really driving me crazy. Can anyone help me to solve this problem? Is this some problem with Windows or printer?

Sounds like a driver problem... for now i move this to the Vista forum.

Ok, I'll try to reintall it when I get home. I found one guy using Google with the same problem, but there was no mention of a soultion. And printer is new, everything was fine for a month, and now the problem appeared.

In meantime, if anyone have some other suggestion, please post it.

I reinstalled drivers and in print job window page count is still multiplied 3 times, but printer prints only one copy, so it seems that problem is solved.
