Eagle710 Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I am trying to get WinPE 2.0 to run explorer and Internet explorer any ideas or guides?
Nuno Brito Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Both explorer and IE are available as scripts when you build a VistaPE (boot disk based on windows Pe 2.x)It's a fully automated process.Look on the site for VistaPE to try it out - http://vistape.netBy default the explorer shell is available, for IE you need to add the respective script that can be found on the discussion forums for this project - http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?...c=3331&st=0If you have doubts regarding VistaPE please place them on the forums.
IcemanND Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 http://vistape.net/vistape-history.htmlDoh! Should have refreshed the screen before posting.
Nuno Brito Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 You did good, it turned out that the author already added IE 7 as default on his project.I hadn't noticed this yet, thanks.
Eagle710 Posted November 7, 2008 Author Posted November 7, 2008 I visited the site I can't find the actual script to dump into my current WinPE 2.0 image. Any ideas on where to a copy of this? Or an actual walkthrough..... I couldn't find an exact link.
IcemanND Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 There's not a script to download to put IE in it is part of the builder. VistaPE on that site is like the BartPE builder, you launch it select the plugins you want or add more if desired and then let it build you an ISO.The download for the builder is on the downloads page. http://vistape.net/download.html
Eagle710 Posted November 8, 2008 Author Posted November 8, 2008 (edited) Is their anyway to add IE/explorer with using the builder? Nobody know how to get this working without the VistaPE? Edited November 10, 2008 by Eagle710
