dll32
I can't detect the source of this problem, realy irritating! And I have the "DHCP functionality" checked in the compatibility window, so it should work.I'm using a swedish source with sp3 slipstreamed (not slipstreamed with nlite). And haven't had any problems with it before.Tested in the newest version of virtualbox (2.0.4).Help is really appreciated Last_Session.ini
GrofLuigi
Does the virtual machine have (virtual) network card? Are its drivers properly installed? Things tend to get weird on machines with no network cards, real or virtual.Another thing is, check dependencies of dhcp service:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Dhcp]"DependOnService"=Tcpip AfdThis is not a reg file to import! Just check visually with Regedit! My memory is failing, but was it Dhcp service or LanmanServer/Workstation that had unneccessary dependency on NetBT (which you have disabled)... While you're at it, also enable LMhosts (tcp netbios helper) cause I think it could also interfere. In an ideal world it shouldn't, but you never know... When I think about it, all your disabled services in [services2] section have something to do one way or another with network... Try enabling them.GL
dll32
It was the NetBT service! I probably mistook the service in thought that it was the tcp netbios helper service witch I know i do not need.Very appreciated!Anyway, shouldn't nlite give some kind of information about this when I have "DHCP functionality" checked?Or isn't services checked for compatibility at all?And yes, the virtual machine has a network card
GrofLuigi
It was discussed here and probably on other places...It is debatable whether Nlite should do anything since it's the OS's "feature" by design.GL
