francisc1701
Hi.I installed windows XP sp3 32bit a few months ago, with "Sata native mode" disabled in bios. Now I would like to install the sata drivers (and then enable "Sata native mode"), but I don't know how. My specs:HP Compaq 6720s; "Intel ICH8M 3 port Serial ATA storage controller - 2828", "Hitachi HTS542512K9SA00" 120G SATA hard drive (Device Manager says so).I found this guide but it's for ICH9. Would it work with ICH8M ?Thanks

francisc1701
Thanks, outcastc, but neither of those is going to work for me because they both imply reinstalling xp, which I don't want to do. Any idea how to do it without reinstalling?
