unable to add operating system in bdd2007

hi all,

firstly - this has been asked before in this forum, but the response was "bump - thread moved to page2" and i cant find page 2? sorry for my ignorance.

i have a problem adding an operating system to bdd, i right click operating systems, click new, point the system to my cd drive where an xp cd is, it looks like it starts to load the files then instantly stops and does nothing else.

Does anyone know why this would be the case? at least some sort of error would have been nice!

it may also be worth noting that this is the second wds server i have built with exactly the same problem!

pleeease someone help it has been doing my head in for days!

using w2k3 r2 wds server on a win 2000 domain...

I was the one who reported this issue as well. I have not resolved it and am instead going to (attempt) migrate our XP install to PXE via WinPE 2.0 instead.

If it helps, this is my operating environment

Server 2003 Standard x32

Windows OPK Tools (Vista SP1 release)

WDS

BDD2007
