remote desktop and internet

Hello

I have almost no understanding of networks so please forgive me for the bad problem description and please dont give me complicated solutions :)

What I what to do is:

1.a Connect my desktop to a wireless network (linksys router) using wireless lan (usb) card - Done

1.b use this connection to browse the internet - Done

2.a Connect my desktop to a router (3com) - Done

2.b Control desktop using remote desktop connection (the XP application). - Done

Now - I can remote control the desktop and I can browse the internet, but not at the same time - When I take over the desktop using my laptop

I loose the internet connection.

I think that the problem is that the internet connection doesnot know from which lan it should get the internet - and there is some type of conflict.

Do you know how to solve this?

If its relevant ....

What I want to do is to keep my laptop program free (no firefox, no opera, no safari, no visual studio etc.) and control several task-dedicated desktops that do the hard work. In that way I can sit in my sofa and talk with servers, internet computer etc. without killing my cute laptop.

Thanks very much

Asaf
