If you can't bring yourself to discuss some of the advantages (as well as the disadvantages you've mentioned) of Linux over Windows - or users who would find Linux better than Windows, then you've probably just proved my point.

Eh? Linux has some advantages over Windows for certain tasks, but on the desktop Windows truly pwns it (Linux doesn't quite cut it, in part for reasons I mentioned earlier). I anything but proved your point.

Besides, my point was this kind of "advocacy" is annoying. In fact, it's more like walking into a Mosque, and trying to convert people there to Christianity (you join a Microsoft-centric forum, full of Windows users, replying to another guy who clearly states he wants to use Windows -- and then them to try Linux). Yeah, I can't see why they'd be annoyed by it.

Especially when every post I remember you posting in you were pimping Linux (and even created a thread just for that), like here, here, ... It gets old.

Using an operating system shouldn't have to be like a uncritical religion, blind to its faults and regularly worshipping it. So I'm not trying to "convert" anyone to a faith that cannot be questioned. Just because its a Microsoft-centric forum, users don't have to pretend other operating systems don't exist, or that if people use them, they are wrong to do so. Both of the topics you point to were started in the Other Operating Systems subforum.

OK, this is devolving into another Linux vs Windows debate. Regardless of how I feel, the original question has been answered fully. Consider this topic closed - if you guys want to discuss Linux, please do it in the correct subforum. I've no problem with it (actually, I enjoy a good debate), but keep it where it belongs.
