Takino Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Are these files extracted directly from the ISO or modified with nLite? I'm getting different MD5 sums for USBPORT.SY_ in relation to my XPSP3 Pro.these are directly extracted from the iso...I forgot to mention that it is an german version....perhaps you could upload your versions if it is an sp3, too? I could try it with your files, shouldn't be too big the container
Sp0iLedBrAt Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Gladly, but there is this issue of redistributable files, and I don't believe they are. I am not prepared to do it without express permission of someone from the moderating team in this forum.Cheers
johnhc Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Hi,I also tried to create an iso using nlite (newest version). I'm using XP Pro, SP3 (MSDNAA version). When I try to load the files I get an cablib error, too. Anyone got an idea how to solve this? I downloaded the xp source twice from our university homepage, so I think it's not the source of the error. Some of the "corrupted" files are: netrass nettcpiip netmscli netserv syssetup sfc_os tcpip ux theme and usb usbportsysWhen I replace them with the files of an oem windows sp2 it can load all the files but crashes when it tries to create the iso image.(I can not use the sp2 cd, because non-oem keys don't work with oem cd's)Any help?Takino, exactly when are you getting the error - nLite step? Please post a screen shot. Use only the latest version of nLite (1.4.9.1) , run nLite under XP, always start with a fresh copy of your CD (ISO) files/folders and run nLite only once. You also might try the copy of SP3 from the MS DL Center. Is the school's ISO modified in any way - any other program run against it? Enjoy, John.

First step, as you can hopefully see in the attached file. The screenshot is done with win 7, but I tried it yesterday with win xp and got the exact same errors (why starting another PC for an screen :/). It was always a fresh copy every time I tried, I copied the files from CD to a different folder, I guess should be new enough. The sp3 doesn't do the trick, because it'a already in the orighinal CD. The isos from the university isn'tt modified in any way. It's the standard german xp-pro sp3 image.
Takino Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Hi, seems to be a problem with the german language packs, the engliah version works fine...
