How can I slipstream chipset driver

Recommended Posts

Maybe it's just installshield package and you need to dig more to unpack it.

nob

It's not installshield package

After unpacking the installshield I've got the drivers files, but there was not any .inf file

and the MSFN website "way" of slipstreaming the drivers in Windows installation CD requires an .inf file

Is there any way to slipstream such a driver?

You need to describe what kind of package it is (it can be anything).

Or try unpacking with Universal Extractor.

Bottom line, most (all?) drivers have .inf file.

If your trying to use an OEM driver that is probably why.

If you can identify the chipset with Everest. You can use the chipset manufacturer drivers. VIA, Intel, AMD, SiS or nVidia.
