Hardware: Notebook Dell D630

Software: vLite 1.2, WAIK, Windows XP SP2

Important feature: Bios AHCI disabled; installing on first partion of clean HDD

Step 1:

clean install of Vista ULTIMATE x86 SP1 Integrated September 2008 OEM DVD-BIE

was without trouble

Step 2:

vLiting this image makes after last installation restar classic error (Stop 0x0000007)

vLite configuration (only changes from default):

Integration -> czech language

Components -> removed many, but without Storage drivers

Tweaks -> Security: DEP-Disabled

System: Hibernation-Off

Power button-Shutdown

Sleep button-Do nothing

Explorer: CP classic-Enabled

Show extension-Yes

Show hidden files-Yes

Services: Print spooler, Task Sheduler, Windows Update-Manual

Unattendet -> Selected this version on install-Checked

Acept EULA-Checked

Regional: Specifity-All on Czech

Final ISO: 890 MB

Tried solutions:

-disabled my DVD in Bios after instalation

-manual loading Intel Matrix Storage and Turbo Memory drivers at the begining of Vista instalation

-integrate Intel Matrix Storage and Turbo Memory drivers

-about 20 differnt ISO making with various configuration

RESULT: still error (Stop 0x0000007)

Step 3:

vLiting Vista with same configuration but section Tweaks is disabled -> FINALLY worked ISO (890 MB) even with an activation from DVD-BIE.

Experiment:

Bios:

AHCI-enabled -> error (Stop 0x0000007)

AHCI-disabled -> no error

so manual update ATA drivers with Intel driver (R154200.exe) and registry tweak from MS (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Msahci->0)

AHCI-enabled -> no error

Conclusion:

somewhere in vLite code is mistake activated by tunning in section Tweaks which looks like error (Stop 0x0000007) but it isn’t.
