i_lius Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 HI all,I'm noob to nlite. Trying to make an bootable unattended xp, but failed to make disk bootable. When checked on the disc, there were no autorun, setup.exe, nor bootDISK like found on original CD.Tried changing the ISO Engine to CDIMAGE.EXE (googled), has no effect.Doesn't help when using NERO to burn at slower speed. Can someone help? Thanks.PS: When reading/copying files from WIN XP cd, nlite reported that SFC_OS.DLL failed to rename or so... (forgot exactly what it said). Wonder if that caused the disc unbootable.Tried check the disc for errors but no sign of damage to the disc.
Ponch Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 When checked on the disc, there were no autorun, setup.exe, nor bootDISK like found on original CD.\Are they found in your HDD folder ?
i_lius Posted September 25, 2008 Author Posted September 25, 2008 Yes those files & folder was there, but deleted after nlite finishing its jobs creating the ISO files
Ponch Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Well that's very strange. Unless you manually add those files in the list of "to be deleted", there is no reason why nLite would remove them in the process. As a workaround, you can readd them using Windows Explorer at the point when it stops and asks for the iso file name and label, but still something is not right.
