sieni Posted September 24, 2008 Share Posted September 24, 2008 (edited) Hey,I have an EEE PC 901 and I think I got my xp installed from an USB stick.But then I messed something up.Now I'm trying to reinstall the XP from the usbstick and on usb-load I choose "Windows XP/2000/2003 Setup"and then "First part of Windows XP Professional setup from partition 0".But then I only get:Booting 'First part of Windows XP Professional setup from partition 0' Filesystem type is ntfs, patition type 0x07chainloader (hd0,0)/$WIN_NT$.~BT/SETUPLDR.BINError 15: File not foundPress any key to continue...Please help! victor888 Posted September 24, 2008 Share Posted September 24, 2008 tow possible reason:one is the directory including $WIN_NT$.LS and txtsetup.sif was deleted after first installation due to some reason such as earlier unplug the usb before first logon.the other is the forlder and/or setupldr.bin is not capital, check it.
