zpro
When is MS going to fix windows media player 11 ( seek bar )the seek bar (progress bar) moves if I hand select a video in a folder, and right click, play with WMP 11, the seek bar tracks, the video,so I can jump forward or jump backward. However, All video in WMP 11 play just fine.... BUT!the seek bar DOESN'T Move at all, SO I can't jump forward or backwards,in a video stream. If I do click on the seek bar, the video restarts from the beginning. Is there a Fix for this ?... I have tried this on 48 videos, from .avi .mkv .mp4its all the same. the seek bar works just fine, if I manual select a video and right clickand play WMP 11... but the same video seek bar will not work, from the Library. Thanks ! DigeratiPrime
What OS are you experiencing this on? I tried playing back a few different videos in WMP11 via rightclick on Vista Ultimate x64 and had no problem seeking.I usually associate this problem with trying to playback recorded streaming media, which lacks a frame index so seeking is not possible (I think that idea is correct). ONLY from the library of WMP 11,when play videos.
Carrotman
I've noticed that too!Does the library list display a length for the files that you have problems with?If not, remove them from the library and add them back in manually - works for me.
