I need a bit of help with the following: - If you have the Pre-SP3 updates, do you need to integrate them or can you go ahead with directly integrating SP3? - How do you integrate IE7?I've tried nLite, it integrates it, but after installation, I found that IE6 was still being used. I've searched through the forums, but all I can find is making an nLite addon, which I don't fancy doing. Does anyone know of a better technique?
spacesurfer Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 you don't have to integrate anything but sp3 and post-sp3 updates (see link below). ie7 can be integrated with nLite without any add-on. i haven't had a problem integrating it. just add the ie7 exe to your list of updates/hotfixes and it should do it for you. you may want to organize your updates based on release date, however.
dansouza Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 There were issues with IE7 not installing after SP3. This issue has been fixed with the latest release of IE7. You may have the old build. Download a new copy and you should have no issues.
