Making an ISO

When I use Nlite and it does it thing it's sez 800+ megs but when I create the ISO, it's 379megs. When I right-click on the folder and goto properties it said 800+ megs. I am using Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004 with addons and drivers

Any help will be appreciated!
