Windows XP Installation help

Hey, just been told that you guys may be able to assist me in my problem.

The thing is I have a Acer Extense 5610G that came with Windows Vista the problem being I would like to install XP but due to my HDD not being a SATA device it is a ATA device and because of that, Windows XP cannot recognise my HDD so I cannot install it.

Now Ive been told that by making a custom installation CD i can solve this problem...I dont really know where to start though, I assume I would need to addon some sort of drivers?

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advanced

You can start from here :http://www.msfn.org/board/Integration-of-Intel-Sata-and-Raid-drive-t107504.html.

Be sure you find all needed drivers for acer extensa 5610 here :http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/ex_5610.html

Also if you have a floppy drive (internal or usb) you can get around that problem in an easiest way (using F6). You'd still need the drivers from Acer.
