Fredledingue Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 (edited) IE7 on Vista will refuse to download a zip archive containing an hta script. (Direct download with adress ending in .zip - It works on other, non Vista non IE7 computers.) Does anybody knows how to fix that? Thanks. Edited August 28, 2008 by Fredledingue
CoffeeFiend Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 (edited) Maybe you have a special IE config (tweaks) that do this? Hard to guess. It would help a lot having more details, like an error message reported by IE ("download blocked" or whatever it might say), or a server error page or number. It's hard to just guess without any details.Or then again, maybe it's something with IE itself (dunno, the only time I ever use it is to download Firefox on a new box) Edited August 28, 2008 by crahak
Fredledingue Posted August 28, 2008 Author Posted August 28, 2008 No, we thought it was an IE or Vista "tweak" but it was our antivirus.Problem solved. Thanks for your reply DrSnurb
