nLite Crashes on my PC (didn't used to!)

Featured Replies

Hi,

Yesterday I was using the latest version of nLite and it crashed when I tried to interrupt it. Now when I try to launch nLite Windows gives me nLite has encountered a problem and needs to close. (See attached text file for full error.)

I uninstalled nLite, removed C:\Program Files\nLite\nLite.ini and C:\Program Files\nLite\Presets, and then reinstalled it to no avail. I'm guessing that there is another configuration file or registry entry somewhere that is causing this but I can't find it.

I'm running it on Windows XP SP3 with the latest .NET service packs & updates.

If anyone can offer any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

Try with re-installing .NetFramework 2.0.

Cheers ;)

Thanks mara, you're a genius! :thumbup

It didn't uninstall properly so I had to use MS's DotNETfx Cleanup Tool but all seems fine now.

Thanks again,

whetphish.
