Chozo4 Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 (edited) Am I the only one to experience this issue of no sound from java applications? All this time I've used the microsoft Java for all my needs but now a few online games and utilities require the use of Suns Java now. I've tried several versions starting from 5.0 update all the way to update 16 and as far as 6.0 Update 7. I cannot seem to get any sound whatsoever. Even SUN's JavaSoundDemo fails to produce sound. It seemingly skips over the audio samples or not even play them at all.I've additionally tried it on my other system with no avail. Has anyone discovered any solutions to this or am I stuck in a rut? Been doing heavy googling to find solutions on a *nix install but nothing for Windows 9x/NT.Platforms both use uSP3.0b2/3, Revolutions Pack 7.11, KernelEx 0.35.Audio output on system #1: USB Audio Device / Yamaha DS-XG YMF-724Audio output on system #2: Soundmax Digital Audio (integrated) Edited August 11, 2008 by Chozo4
eidenk Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Maybe you need to install the Java Media Framework.
