I don't have any evidence yet but I'm working on it right now.

I am 100% sure it has something to do with some additions in 1.2b and 1.2RC.

Because with exact same updates and components removed using 1.1.6 - no problems (also no problems installing new updates already in new system) even with LOTS of major stuff removed.

The same set of updates and components won't work with 1.2, I've already tested it but don't remember exact settings and don't have presets.

Please Nuhi check this - could this be somehow related with different behavior of this "pending" file? Maybe it was automatically removed in 1.1.6?
