Bleeder Posted August 5, 2008 Share Posted August 5, 2008 (edited) I do believe there has been mention in other forums that performance on newer cards is not as good as some of the older cards, when running older games and applications that pre-date DirectX 9.0. Plus, there is the additional issue of quality versus performance. Many older games and applications are not looking/working properly on newer cards due to removed hardware and/or software/driver support of older features (like dithering, for example).
