Problem with nlite CDs

I recently got a new SATA hard drive, finally replacing my age old OS drive. However my equally age old Windows XP CD doesn't recognize the hard drive and my USB floppy is one of those with problems not being recognized during the final stage of copying the files in the Windows XP installer. Long story short, I need to add those drivers to my windows XP CD.

Read through everything and went and made a new XP disc with nlite, no problems. However, after it goes through the initial install/copy files and reboot, my system freezes when it tries to engage the installer from the hard drive. I get to the "Press any key to boot from CD..." message and then nothing, just freezes right there. I know it isn't the hard drive because I also have Windows Vista and a linux distribution installed on it as well. I thought it might be my cd, or maybe some of the changes I made, so I went back and made two more cds. One had just XP SP3 and the Drivers, the other had just the drivers. Both failed at the same point.
