tal ormanda Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 I hit eject the first time it says its in use then right after it lets it disconnect.
joe43wv Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 I've had this problem before too, apparently you have something either running from the drive or writing to the drive in the background, and when you tell it to shutdown the first time it kills the task and allows it to shutdown the second time around. I don't really know anyway of fixing this bug.
Redhatcc Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 just being nosy i would open task manager and watch what processes that start when you plug in your drive and when you eject your drive. As far as a fix i wouldnt know of anything unless you update the driver that runs it from the website?
mara- Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Use Unlocker before you try to eject first time and you''ll see what's keeping it from ejecting.Cheers
