mr nice guy Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 As a beginner with nLite, I am a bit confused about the hotfix integration. I know that everything can be slipstreamed with nLite but you need to find the hotfixes first. From searching around the forum and looking at the linked sites, xable and ryanvm have come up as solutions to finding hotfixes. Which package is more complete or preferred? And where would i find the hotfixes for IE7 and WMP11 or would they be included in those packages?
mazmorbid Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 I don't use either of those, once I have integrated a service pack I then load it up in VMWare and use Microsoft Update to check if anything else is needed, if it is then I download from Microsoft and integrate into the setup files.
lontom Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 hmm, which sp are you using?Usually a link can be found via the help link....
mazmorbid Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 I am using SP3, and going by VMWare there are 10 Updates that are needed
