wazh Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 (edited) Hi,just using vlite for the first time to trim down the ultimate installer. However I have this issue or its a user problem (me) that I decided to remove all the languages. I thought why have them all there when the default english is fine. However when I goto windows update it wants to download all of them again??is there a way of stopping this?I went back to the original and left the languages in thinking that if they were there windows update wouldnt want to patch them.. Same problem. However strangely enough when installing them all 34 fail. Please help.ThanksWarren Edited June 18, 2008 by wazh

lousen Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 And if you download the languajes via windows update, the free space in the system partition will disapear I allways select all the languages with vlite for erase this from my spanish ISO of vista (except spanish using v1.1.6 -version 1.2 beta don´t show this for scatterbrained users like me-).After I install the vlite'd Vista, y hide this optional updates. The final ISO is lighter, and these updates are not necessary.
