Hi, just using vlite for the first time to trim down the ultimate installer. However I have this issue or its a user problem (me) that I decided to remove all the languages. I thought why have them all there when the default english is fine. However when I goto windows update it wants to download all of them again?? is there a way of stopping this? I went back to the original and left the languages in thinking that if they were there windows update wouldnt want to patch them.. Same problem. However strangely enough when installing them all 34 fail. Please help. Thanks Warren

Hi, I am confused. We recently upgraded our Windows 2003 servers to SP2 and have WDS installed. We had RIS in the past and that was working fine. I understand now that everything is image based build via sysprep but I have 1 or 2 questions. 1: Is there a way to not include say a c:\drivers directory and be able to feed these from a network share in order to be able to update them dynamically without having to re-image? Or am I confused with this? 2: Is there a way to just have it run Mini-Setup so that the they can be just preped at the site with PXE boot and not have to do any post task, like a reseal or am I confused about this as well. I presume its all about where you image the reference computer. Any input or pointers would be appreciated. Thanks Warren
