Installation reduced after integrating hotfixes ..?

I have been doing an XP Pro x64 integrated disc, I integrated service pack 2 fine, i then integrated 150mb of extra updates and hotfixes but when it finished it said installation had been reduced 14mb? is this normal?

YES! Very normal as nlite will automatically delete and recompress some files... Thus giving you some spare space !

Thanks .. just thought it was strange to install 150mb of updates and lose 14mb on my install I also get the same thing with my XP x86 integration disc, after integrating service pack 3 i then integrate 10 extra updates and it reduces by 11mb ..

It's because files are replaced with newers versions.
