HooNoes Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 unhappy with vista, i want to downgrade to xp and need to include sata drivers in the installation. now xp finds the hdd but only "sees" one (the recovery?) partition FAT. the two others don't appear.does anybody have an idea? guess i'll have to make a new cd, but don't want to make the same mistake.helpful tips would be appreciated.
exBBoi Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 You probably include wrong drivers or you messed up something with them, if nLited WinCD won't see them. You have notebook right? Tell us what model and we will tell you want drivers do u need. And check this out:http://www.msfn.org/board/Integration-of-I...ve-t107504.html
Advocatus33 Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 It is possible to avoid nLite usage by changing the type of HDD in your BIOS before you try to install Windows.I've got the same problem, my notebook is Sony VGN-FZ31MR. Just don't know what to do. MSDOS fdisk /mbr command doesn't help, as well as multiple partitioning applications.
