gittywang Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Hello everyoneMy testing steps is as follow description,a) unattend install a Chinese simplified Home SP3 Pure OSb ) Disk partition distribution is as follow, first partition: 4000M FAT32 second partition: 40000M NTFS third partition: Free NTFSc) Reseal (run sysprep generalize) the pure os without installing any driver and apd) Using imagex to capture this system, the commad is : imagex /capture c: r:\recovery\xpimg.wim "XP_OS" /verifye) format c: partiton the command is : format /fs:ntfs /q /y /v:OS_Install Enviroment: WinPE2.0f) Using imagex to apply the xpimg.wim to C partition the command is : imagex /apply r:\recovery\xpimg.wim 1 c: /verify Enviroment: WinPE2.0g) Exit the winpe2.0 and enter windows welcome to logonf) shutdown os after logon desktoph) power on to restart computeri) The hard disk will have a self check before logon desktopIf I install English Home SP3 Pure OS, the step i) the hard disk will not have a self check,this is my question,is there anybody can help me?
Tripredacus Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Try running a scandisk and/or defrag while in Audit mode before you sysprep.
