Nlite fails to integrate drivers

Nlite is supposed to integrate the drivers for my SATA drive to my custom xp installation iso, but does not, as they are not embedded and the installation still fails to detect my hard drive.

I am using a Toshiba A200/201 with vista business 32-bit pre-installed.

I have wasted several dvds to try several ways of having it work.

1) follow the normal process through nlite's driver integration function. Result: failed

2) Copy the drivers in their own directories within the root. Result: failed

3) Copy the drivers within the path /i386/ and rename any SYS or INF as SY_ and IN_ . Result: Failed

Windows XP installation will still fail to locate the integrated drivers for either SCSI or SATA.

Apparently my hdd is Hitachi S1.

And I don't have a fdd, and I'm sure there is a method of not having to buy a usb fdd just for this.

The drivers should be located on the installation, if it cannot find them as it only looks for OEM only, and to specify a third-party SCSI/RAID driver only by floppy, then obviously a little bit of tweaking is required.

Any ideas.

cheers.

Apologies, it seems it is always human error!

I didn't integrate in text mode but pnp before, so now that i integrated in text mode, it worked.

Apologies.

So relieved!

Sometimes it helps to just simply STOP if something goes not as planned, and try to think what could be done otherwise and backtrack your steps, quickly looking over what could be the culprit.
