moggle45 Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 When ever I insert my Drivers and click "open," nLite give me this error then shuts down. Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? Thanks
danker Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 It looks like a Dot.Net failure!Deinstall your Framework and install dot.net2 again.
moggle45 Posted May 8, 2008 Author Posted May 8, 2008 Thanks for the reply, but everything you said just went over my head. I have a base computer knowledge that is completely self taught from reading, so I have no clue what that means!Could you please elaborate in layman's terms so a simpleton like me could understand? Im sure I could figure out what you mean if spent the time, Ive just been trying to get rid of vista since 11 am this morning, and 5 hours later Ive only made slight progress. Your help is greatly e-ppreciated (haha, get the pun? I dont expect you to laugh...)
danker Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 Allreight! I try to my very best! Iv you dont know what is a Framework and / or Dot.Net then look firdt to the good old Wikipedia.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.NET_Frameworknlite need this to run and work! And my gues is that your Dot.Net Framework on your PC is broken (its sometimes happens). At nuhis page you find links for download the Dot.Net Framework:http://www.nliteos.com/download.htmlYour current Dot.Net Framework you should be able to deinstall in the WIndwos Softeware section. After this you can install the fresh downloadet Dot.Net Framework again! ....have a lot of Fun!
moggle45 Posted May 8, 2008 Author Posted May 8, 2008 I downloaded the 2.0 framework and during the installer it says that it is already installed on my OS. Any other ideas?
