hait0027 Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Hello All -I used SIM to build a basic unattend file named simpleUnattend.xml. I then installed Vista from a network share using the simpleUnattend.xml and it installs fine. Now I'm trying to run sysprep /generalize and always get the GUI. I get the GUI with any combination of switches even passing it the simpleunattend.xml file. What am I doing wrong? Am I missing something in the unattend.xml? Thanks in advance!Hai
anyweb Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 have you tried the quiet switch when you sysprep vista ?c:\windows\system32\sysprep\sysprep.exe /quiet /generalize /shutdown /oobecheersanyweb
hait0027 Posted May 7, 2008 Author Posted May 7, 2008 (edited) Thanks for the reply. When I run the full commandline it works. Do I always have to run /oobe? I was looking to Automate the Windows Welcome and believe I have all the necessary info in the unattend.xml. I'm building a corporate image. Edited May 7, 2008 by hait0027
