surfertje Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Is there someone that knows System Centre Essentials from Microsoft and is using it? Sms is the one i am interesting in from Essentials 2007. I want to make use of sms for deploying Vista and Xp in the organisation. I like to know everybody's exprerience and info to configure it to deplpying operating systems.
anyweb Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 you probably mean SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), that is the replacement for SMS 2003. I am about to test it and will document setting it up and hopefully doing Zero Touch with it soon, however in the mean time here's my SMS 2003 guide and Zero Touch guide for installing Windows Vista

SMS is also a module of the system centre but i can't find courses or something like that.I don't think it is of much use to dive in the sms 2003 material. Thanks anyway!
anyweb Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 i'm doing an SMS 2003 to SCCM 2007 upgrade howto currently, when it's done i'll let you know
