computerboy0 Posted May 4, 2008 Posted May 4, 2008 (edited) Okay, i originally posted this thinking i would make it easier for people.however it was just getting harder and harder. So, it would be probably best just to use the app referenced on the nlite website to integrate WMP11. boooggy Posted May 4, 2008 Posted May 4, 2008 what about umdf.exe and wmfdist11.exe? they are also needed for wmp 11 install......
computerboy0 Posted May 4, 2008 Author Posted May 4, 2008 (edited) You know what? Youre right.I wonder though why it is not jus possible to do an integrated install of the whole package instead of going file by file...Perhaps it is easier to just use the app, although if you integrate installation of the other two apps, it should work.Im going to try it anyway.I shall report my findings.EDIT: I have updated my earlier post. I have made a batch file to do the job. only three lines need be edited.EDIT: The script seems to work, however when installing i get an error. i cant remember the error completely, but its something like: *something*mp2.exe cannot start because WMDRMSDK.DLL cannot be found.EDIT: Simply wondering... When just integrating the three files, the setup works file except for the error mentioned above. Hoever when trying to start WMP11 after installing as above, the version number says that its 9.something, when it should be 11.something. ...how to change that? Edited May 5, 2008 by computerboy0
