aceuk Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 (edited) I did a quick search but couldn't find anything suggesting ModifyPE will be updated to work properly on Windows Vista. Apologies if this has been covered before though. Is there any chance support for PEChecksum (Alternate Link) could be added to HFSlip? This program does the same thing as ModifyPE and works fine with Vista. The other good thing about it is that it doesn't change the file modification date either. Edited April 27, 2008 by aceuk
Arie Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 It doesn't seem to be a command line tool. It seems to need to be installed. That's the advantage of ModifyPE which is currently used, as it doesn't need to be installed.
aceuk Posted April 29, 2008 Author Posted April 29, 2008 (edited) Although PEChecksum has a GUI, it can be run from the command line too which is why I suggested it. If you download it from the CodeProject website (Direct Link) you don't have to install it first to run it (just unzip it). The license would also permit it to be distributed with HFSlip too.
